Last year, I had the pleasure of visiting Round Hill with my 11 closest girlfriends from high school. We were celebrating our 40th birthdays, but for me, it was so much more. Three days before I flew to Jamaica, I reached the end of months of treatment for an aggressive breast cancer that I had been diagnosed with the summer before. Three days before our trip marked the end of 20 rounds of radiation, surgery, and 16 rounds of chemotherapy. For the previous 10 months, I had only had enough energy for fighting cancer, and for my 3 previous daughters. My high school friends had been my biggest support system during this time, and being able to get on a plane with them and experience the magic of our villa at Round Hill was the most healing medicine in the world. And to top it off, I worked for Ralph Lauren for almost a decade in my twenties, so being in Ralph's Caribbean haven was an added bonus.

Thank you for the beautiful hospitality. I can't wait to come back and visit again. I am thrilled to tell you I am now cancer free!
